At Draper Civil Engineering, we appreciate and acknowledge how essential it is for our plant to be looked after. With the operation of heavy machinery and excavators, combined with a number of potential risks that could occur on-site, it is vital for us to properly care for our equipment.
DRAPERS HIGH STANDARDS
In line with our health and safety mission, and as we strive to complete every job to only the highest standard, here are a few ways we pledge to care for our plant:
- Our single-operator policy. Due to the heavy nature of our equipment, we believe that our machinery should be operated by the same person consistently. This way, each member of our workforce promises to be fully qualified, trained and experienced to effectively and safely manage each machine.
- Our top-of-the-range fleet. Providing a premium service is at the heart of every job we support, which means operating machinery of only the highest standard.
- We invest in our machines and people. We understand and appreciate the importance of investing in our equipment and our team, so we can successfully deliver a constantly first-class service.
- Each machine has a lifespan. We take the safety of our workforce to the next level by limiting the lifespan of our machines to three years, at which point, we will replace them with a new model.

Not only do we value the health and safety of our workforce and those all on-site, but we strive to go above and beyond to look after our environment as well. At Draper Civil Engineering, we are committed to building a better future and that means being kinder to our planet.
We ensure that as many of the equipment we use along with the procedures we carry out are environmentally friendly. And we are always looking for ways to decrease the emissions of our machines, which in turn will reduce our carbon footprint.
